No matter how you slice it, beating an NFL team 24 straight times on your home turf is an absolutely amazing feat. The Green Bay Packers, from 1992 to the present, having taken down the Detroit Lions in two dozen consecutive games at Lambeau Field and Milwaukee County Stadium, including one playoff game on the frozen tundra.
It hasn't made a difference if the Packers' quarterbacks struggled or the defense couldn't make a stop, Green Bay has found a way to win: ugly, pretty, fast, slow, an offensive clinic or defensive domination.
Think of style and the Packers have used it to send the Lions back to Detroit with their heads down for more than two decades.
Below you'll find a season-by-season snapshot of what happened in each contest. You'll see some names you've forgotten and remember some victories that were unique in their own right. But before you get to the game breakdowns, here are some notes attached to the 24-game home winning streak.

**Without further ado, the 24 straight victories in short capsules**
- The first victory in the Packers' incredible win streak, Green Bay won 38-10 as Favre throws just 19 passes (15 completions) for 214 yards, 3 TD and 0 INT. It was 35-10 at half as Sterling Sharpe finished the game with 6 catches for 107 yards and a TD, while the defense forced 5 turnovers.
- Chris Jacke kicks 4 field goals and the Lions are held to a mere 100 yards passing behind Rodney Peete as Green Bay beat Detroit 26-17. The Packers actually trailed 17-13 in the third, but finished Detroit off with 13 unanswered points, 10 of which came in the final quarter.
- The Packers led 31-7 at halftime, led by Bryce Paup's interception for a touchdown and two of Favre's 3 TD passes on the day. Reggie Cobb ran for 66 yards and a TD as Green Bay held on 38-30.
(Playoffs) - The only postseason contest as part of the streak, Green Bay held Barry Sanders to -1 yards rushing in a 16-12 victory. They kept Detroit to -4 yards on the ground as a team, an NFL playoff record. It was the 2nd straight year the Packers ousted the Lions from the postseason.
- Favre threw for 342 yards and 2 TDs, leading the Packers to a 20-0 lead at the break. Edgar Bennett ran the ball 29 times and had 4 catches to rack up 148 total yards in the 30-21 win.

- None other than Don Majkowski was under center for Detroit, as the Majik Man faced the man who took his job and ran. Favre hit 8 different receivers and tossed 4 TDs, including a 65-yard strike to Don Beebe en route to a 28-18 win. Beebe had 4 grabs for 106 yards while Terry Mickens caught 7 passes for 52 yards and 2 TDs.
- Scott Mitchell threw 4 picks, one returned for a 50-yard TD by Darren Sharper (it feels a little gross putting his name in here). Both teams were held to under 260 total yards and the two combined to punt 18 times in an ugly 20-10 victory.
- The Lions' Terry Fair returned a kickoff 101 yards for a TD to cut Green Bay's lead to 5 points to end the 3rd quarter. But Roell Preston took the ensuing kickoff 100 yards to pay dirt to put the Pack back on top by 12 on the way to a 38-19 win. Antonio Freeman had 110 yards receiving and 2 scores, including an 85-yard touchdown to seal the game in the 4th.
- Ryan Longwell kicked 4 field goals to help bring the Packers back from a 14-6 deficit. Favre threw for over 300 yards while Dorsey Levens had 33 touches for 146 total yards and a touchdown as Green Bay won 26-17.
- The teams combined for 27 points in the 4th quarter as the Packers defeated the Lions 26-13. For the 2nd straight home game against Detroit, Longwell booted 4 field goals. Meanwhile, Charlie Batch tossed 3 interceptions as the Lions committed 5 turnovers.

- Green Bay scored 21 straight points in the 1st quarter, including TD runs of 31 and 83 yards by Ahman Green. He finished with 157 yards rushing, while Bill Schroeder added 104 receiving yards and a TD on just 4 catches. Favre was 22-28 for 260 yards and 2 TDs in the 28-6 trouncing.
- Down 7-3 after one, the Packers ripped off 37 consecutive points, including 27 in the 2nd quarter. Donald Driver grabbed 11 balls for 130 yards with Favre completing 26 passes for 351 yards and a pair of TDs without a pick. Marques Anderson also had an INT for a TD in their 40-14 pasting.
- For the 2nd straight year Green Bay destroyed the Lions as Green ran for 160 yards and a touchdown in the 31-6 victory. The Packers had exactly 200 rushing yards as a team and forced 3 interceptions, one returned for a 56-yard TD by Al Harris.

- An ugly affair on a cold, windy December night (28 mph wind, 21 degree wind chill), the Packers won 16-13 on Longwell's 3rd field goal of the game with :02 left. Joey Harrington was 5-22 for 47 yards passing, and the clubs combined for 19 penalties totaling 179 yards. UGLY - but another Pack win to keep the streak alive.
- This was the Packers' worst season during the streak (4-12 record) and they won by the exact same score as the previous season, 16-13. This night was even colder (14 degrees), and Longwell won it on his 3rd field goal, this time in overtime. Samkon Gado ran for 171 yards and Green Bay's only touchdown.
- Favre threw 3 INTs without a TD, while Vernand Morency had a pair of rushing touchdowns to pace the Packers' offense. But it was the Packers defense that won the game, shutting down Detroit with 6 sacks, 3 turnovers and just 142 total yards to win 17-9.
- A meaningless game for the Packers to wrap up the year, Favre went 9-11 for 99 yards and 2 TDs, giving way to Craig Nall early in the 2nd. Nall added 88 yards and a TD pass as Green Bay coasted to a 13-3 record behind the 34-13 victory. Brandon Jackson added 113 yards on the ground.
- In Aaron Rodgers' first home start against Detroit, he continued the tradition with a 31-21 win over the eventual 0-16 Lions. Rodgers threw for 308 yards and 3 TDs, while Ryan Grant and DeShawn Wynn each ran for more than 100 yards. Wynn had a 73-yard TD in the 1st and Driver tallied a 71-yard TD catch in the 4th.

- The only shutout in the win streak, Green Bay blanked Detroit 26-0 as former Minnesota Vikings QB Daunte Culpepper started for Detroit. The defense held the Lions to 149 yards and had 3 INTs. Rodgers also threw for 358 yards as the Packers racked up over 40 minutes of possession.
- Rodgers went just 12-17 for 181 yards and 2 INTs, but he tossed 3 TDs as the Packers held on 28-26. Shaun Hill threw for 331 yards and 2 TDs, but Charles Woodson took an interception 48 yards to the house. That gave Green Bay just enough cushion to win yet again at home.
- Matt Flynn got the start for Green Bay as they had everything wrapped up at 14-1. All he did was throw for 480 yards and a team-record 6 TDs as the Packers won a shootout, 45-41. Flynn hit Jermichael Finley with 1:10 left in the game for the winner. The teams combined for 1,125 yards.

- Detroit led 14-0 early in the 2nd, but couldn't do much after that. Rodgers didn't do much either, held without a TD pass and to only 173 yards - but he did have a 27-yard TD run. Meanwhile, Mike Daniels scooped up a fumble and went 43 yards for the score as Green Bay won 27-20.
- Mason Crosby went 5-for-5 on field goals - including a 52-yarder - to lead Green Bay to a 22-9 victory. James Jones caught 4 balls for 127 yards, the big one being an 83-yard TD late in the 3rd.
- Micah Hyde opened the scoring with a 1st-quarter punt return of 55 yards for a TD. Randall Cobb led the offense with a pair of TD catches and 80 yards receiving. The Packers' defense also added a safety thanks to Matthew Stafford's intentional grounding in the end zone. The latest Green Bay victory ended with a 30-20 final.
- Coming off of a pair of ugly losses on the road, Green Bay came home for what looked like a sure win... What do you think the rest of the storyline will look like?
